As many users reported never-solved battery drain issue of Elite X2 G2 laptop during shutdown, I had also been suffering from the same issue for years. I realized that I always keep the PC with the keyboard attached to the tablet part. Wondering if the keyboard consumes battery during the PC is completely shut down, I assessed battery amount after leaving the tablet detached from the keyboard after full charge.

Usually, with keyboard attached, battery level is reduced around 7% in a half day or so. When just tablet was left alone for 24 hours without the keyboard, the battery level was 99%. 

This concludes that the connected keyboard consumes battery even the tablet is completely turned off. 

Please test it with your Elite X2 PC.
