Product: elitebook 840 G3

Hello all,

I had the same issue with several 840 G3 my daugthers have for their studies. Keyboard never failed under win10, but start to not working after boot since the update to win 11.

I found a turnaround that works each time, without any external device :

  • using visual keyboard (in accessibility tools), log to win11
  • Then open the device manager (right click on start button)
  • Then delete the keyboard (no worries to confirm the deletion)
  • Accept the reboot.

 

After reboot, keyboard is working again.

Hope it helps other stuck with this lazzy OS...
