That is correct: your HP EliteBook 840 G5 Notebook PC does not come with a joystick.
Your laptop's keyboard, however, has a "Point Stick" -see picture.
If you want/need a joystick, that would be an aftermarket non-HP purchase such as this example: Amazon.com: [2022 New Version] CuleedTec Wireless Switch Controller, Switch Pro Controller Compatibl....
