I'm trying to hook up my Windows 10 laptop (64 bit?) with two external monitors via a Omars USB-C Hub. The hub connects to laptop by USB-C. The monitors connect to hub by HDMI. Windows doesn't recognize the external monitors. (The monitors can connect directly to laptop by HDMI, so they work.
I'm not sure what laptop specs are relevant: HP 2022 17.3" FHD IPS Display Laptop PC Intel 11th Gen 4-Core i5-1135G7 32GB DDR4 RAM 1TB SSD NVMe SSD Intel Iris Xe Graphics Backlit Keyboard WiFi USB C Webcam HDMI Windows 10 Pro w/RE Accessories
The hub is successfully connecting an external speaker.
Does the hub not work with this model? Am I doing something wrong?

What is your HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-c0000 (2W0H1AV) machine ? It could be one of the following machines
For example : HP Laptop 17-cn0000nm
It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
For more connectivity, please use
True Universal Docking Stations
Regards.
