Welcome to our HP Community forum!
I am very sorry to hear that your notebook has been stolen. Unfortunately, HP cannot track or disable a lost or stolen device directly. Here are some steps you should take right away:
Report the Theft
File a police report with the serial number of your notebook (you can usually find it on the original box, invoice, or HP Support account).
This helps authorities in case the device is recovered.
Protect Your Accounts & Data
If you were signed into a Microsoft account, go to account.microsoft.com → Devices → Find my device. If the feature was enabled, you may be able to see its last known location.
Change your Microsoft, email, and other important passwords immediately.
If BitLocker or another encryption feature was enabled, your data should remain secure.
Inform HP Support
Contact HP Spain with your product serial number so it can be noted in HP’s internal records. This doesn’t allow tracking, but may help if the device comes in for service.
Consider Insurance
If you had insurance or coverage through your retailer, check if theft is included.
Sadly, HP cannot recover stolen laptops, but following the steps above helps protect your information and improves the chances of recovery.
Kind Regards,
