Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help me please. I am still in the learning stage of using a digital pen, so possibly i have done something silly with the settings. But whenever i draw on anything like word, powerpoint of adobe fresco there is a line at the same part of the page that does not let me draw on it using the digital pen. However it will let me draw over it using my finger. See screen shot below, the black is using the pen and blue is using my finger
I could be wrong but i dont think it is a problem with the screen. If you are on any other page such as on a colourful screensaver you can not see this line. Also if i type using the keyboard it types right through this line.
I have updated all the graphics drivers today as someone had suggested that could cause it but its still doing the same thing. Any ideas of how to fix this would be very much appreciated. Thanks in Advance

My personal opinion - based on very little actual technical understanding of the mechanics - is that this is a failure in the digitizer field in the one area (strip) of the touchscreen.
IF that is the case, updates and drivers would not have any impact on the results.
If that is the case, the solution is to replace the screen, including the digitizing layer that supports the stylus.
No, sorry, I cannot expand on the idea - I don't know whether this is the cause and I really don't understand the underlying mechanics of how / whether a screen can fail in just one strip area.

Well, don't worry. Smiling.
I am very likely wrong.
You can, of course, contact HP Support - brand new computer is under Warranty.
When you submit the case, explain what you have done to try and diagnose / fix the problem.
