I am using Probook 445R G6.
I am hardware expert.
After I update BIOS recently, my laptop hibernates sometimes.
I check windows log, system reached 99'c and halt.
The stupid thing is when laptop hibernate, fan was not running or silently running!
While laptop is switching to hibernate mode (around 10sec), fan speed reaches 100%. (as I can hear the noise)
This is definitely FAN control algorithms bug.!!!!!!!
I also opened my laptop, remove dust (almost none, I clean my laptop yearly), spread new MX3 thermal paste.
This problem appeared after I install BIOS update. I guess this is FAN control algorithm bug. Seee this URL.
https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c06561295
PLEASE FIX IT IMMEDIATELY. OPEN YOUR COMPANY GIT, ROLL BACK FAN ALGORITHMS BEFORE THAT BIOS UPDATE!

I tried to clean laptop once more and put more MX-4 compound.
Wrote a program that tries to increase CPU workload suddenly, idle for certain amount of time.
Previously laptop enters sleep mode after running code within one hour.
Now it seems laptop doesn't enter sleep mode.
I will run test whole night, really hope my laptop doesn't turn off.
