Product: EliteBook 1040 G3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm tring to find out what kind of Micro SD cards are supported.  I just purchased a Micro SDXC, however it looks slightly smaller than the filler plate installed in my Notebook.  I would rather find out if its compatable before opening the package.

All microSD cards should be same shape, same size. But looks like machine does not have card reader slot. It only has following ports

 

  • Headphone/Microphone Combo
  • HDMI 1.4
  • Docking connector
  • Multi-Pin AC port (4.5 mm)
  • (1) USB-C 3.0 charging port
  • (2) USB 3.0 charging ports

 

Please check again yourself from the following manual
