Missing drivers for Elitebook 8540w

Hi,

I am missing some drivers after installing OS WIndows 7 professional (32 bit). Can you please help. I tried downloading a few but ended up getting blue screens. I have reinstalled the OS now.

I can't connect that laptop to network yet, so offline lincs would be helpful

Hi, I can not connect that laptop to the Internet. So would it be possible share offline links for the drivers. That way I can download and take the setups to that laptop

I have been constantly getting BSOD or call it Blue Sceen, I am running Win 10 x64 and the IMEI is ver 6.0.0.1179 dated 9/17/2009. I downloaded the new driver sp59684.exe 

Intel Management Engine Components Driver and Interface

6.2.40.1045 10.3 MB Nov 5, 2012

but for some reason even after installing it still shows me the older version in Device Manager - System Devices - Intel Management Engine Interface.

1. Is there a way to uninstall it as It does not allow me to uninstall the old driver.

It's very conveniet to have HP drivers and recovery DVD for your EliteBook model. In many countries these DVDs are mailed to you from local HP support for free. There is also some useful software on DVD not available on www (i.e. Roxio). That support is an advantage of business EliteBooks over consumer HPs.

AFAIK HP no longer supports 8540w, get 8740w discs instead.

When in a hurry for a clean Win 7 installation (go with sp1 CD!) prepare flash drive (usb) with Intel(R) 82577LM Gigabit Network Connection driver, or with the bunch of drivers:
