Thanks for the answer!

1.
Can I only use these models?

Solid-state drive, M.2

256-GB, TLC

827583-001

128-GB, TLC

827053-001

Or fit SSD M.2 from other manufacturers such as Kingston?

2.
What modifications of ProBook 450 G3 have a backlit keyboard?

In looking at the below video clip about the M2 SSD, it displays 500GB.

My only questons is was it a double sided M2 module or single sided, as unable to identify the brand.

Looks familar.  I am looking at putting in a 500GB Sumsung 850 M2 module, see below link.

The model is 2280

Did it work for you to install the 2280 - 500GB Sumsung 850 M2 module in the HP Probook 450 G3 ?

How does it work ? Any problems ? Any reduction in battery life ?

I want to use what you considered and if it doesn't work i will use a:

Crucial MX200 Series 500GB SATA-III M.2 2260 Double Sided

I can confirm Samsung 850 EVO M.2 500 GB is supported, I'm using one in my 470 G3. No problems at all.
