I've tried fixing my biometrics and simcard but has failed.... What is needed for me to set up?

Fingerprint reader
The fingerprint reader is an option on this model series.
If your system does not have a fingerprint sensor, one can be purchased and installed.
It might be necessary to also replace the top cover.

Webcam / Camera
Windows Hello facial recognition requires an IR type camera.
The service manual for your computer indicates that, if a camera option is included (that is, if your computer has a webcam), the installed webcam / camera is NOT the type to support Windows Hello facial recognition.

WWAN / Mobile Broadband adapter / module
SIM card / Mobile Network Service Carrier
Prerequisite - "Must have"
Computer or Workstation must include the hardware options to install both SIM card and the WWAN module.
Connecting your computer to your mobile network service provider requires two main parts:
- A supported, account active SIM card to connect to your provider's network
- An appropriate and installed WWAN broadband module inside the computer
Many computers come with a built-in slot for a SIM card.
Many more computers do NOT come with the optional WWAN broadband module already installed.
Your computer includes the OPTION to purchase and install the WWAN Mobile Broadband module.

Use Settings > Network & internet to display information about an installed SIM card.
Use the Device Manager to find / display information about an installed WWAN module.

Device Manager is available in the Control Panel and in Computer Management

Select View by action types
Check Show hidden devices

Select Devices by type
