Product: Elitebook 1030 G3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After working faultlessly for over a year, my HP usb-c G4 dock just stopped working - it won't drive a display or connect with USB devices.  It does however shut down the notebook (EliteBook 1030) if you hit the power button! 

I re-installed the firmware for the dock, but this has had no impact. 

Any ideas?

Wierdly, it's just come back to life after a couple of days!   No idea why it did that.
