HP Pavilion x360 Convertible

Hi.., Please help me identify the problem in my HP Laptop x360. The laptop works perfectly till we are working with no fast typing or no sudden moving it on the table. While iam in the middle of something and that needs to be sent on email.. or and i happened to move the laptop on the table or move it even when it is in my lap while working.. it goes off with black screen and white blinking horizontal lines on the screen and with a sudden shrinking sound the laptop shuts.. and while it is restarting after a while it goes into a recovery mode... and nothing helps.

i downloaded new drivers and even updated and for a week it went well although i was also not moving it knowing the problem.. but sooner or later it will shut off and is not becoming reliable to work on. the rest of the laptop is good and fast except the sudden moving or fast typing the screen shuts off along with the laptop.

Please help.

@Ram2302 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the display is getting black.

f you haven't, Please try an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure,

if the issue does not appear on the alternate monitor, you may need to replace the display assembly on your computer,

if the issue appears on the alternate monitor/TV as well, re-install the graphics card drivers & update it from the official HP Website: Click here

If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS)

If the issue does not appear in BIOS, reinstall the graphics card drivers & update BIOS using the above link,
If it does, you may need to replace the LCD/Repair the computer:

If the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, liquid spilled on it, etc.) there could be a hardware failure and in such cases, you may need to get the computer repaired via HP (there could be a charge involved if the PC isn't covered by the accidental damage protection plan)

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Please update the BIOS and check.
