My keyboard is locked. I can't type my Bitlocker ID to unlock my laptop

If you are entering the Bitlocker PIN code with Function keys (F1-F10) instead of numbers, you may have need to press Fn key at the same time or enable the Fn lock.

Try entering the BIOS or the HP boot menu by constantly hitting F10 or ESC during boot-up. If you can enter the boot menu (or BIOS), try the built-in HP diagnostics which contains keyboard diagnostics.

Try with an external USB keyboard - your laptop keyboard may be broken, or the internal keyboard cable may be loose.
