Hello.
245 G5 specifications are here:

Your laptop has two memory sockets for DDR3L-1600. Maximum memory size is 16GB (2x8GB). You can mix two different size modules with no performance penalty, so e.g. 4GB+8GB will work.
DDR3L is a Low Voltage version of DDR3. Only DDR3L memory will work with this laptop, not DDR3 or DDR3U.
The '1600' denotes the clock rate (speed) of the memory, and I would recommend not buying any slower memory, because it will affect the whole computing speed negatively. The memory module speed can also be denoted in an alternate way: 'DDR3L-1600' is the same as 'PC3L-12800'. Faster memory module speeds will work, but will yield no benefits over DDR3L-1600.
The SSD can be any 2.5 inch SATA-III drive. All current SATA SSD's are very close to each other in terms of performance since they all can saturate the old SATA bus. Crucial, Kingston and Samsung are well-known manufactures but there really are dozens of other SSD makers as well to choose from.
