Product: HP EliteBook 830 G8

I purchased a brand new laptop online, HP EliteBook 830 G8, with Windows 10 installed. I purchased this laptop specially for my Melco Amaya Bravo X, a professional long arm quilting machine.

But, every time I connect Melco Amaya Bravo X with HP EliteBook 830 G8, there is a issue popping up over the machine screen which shows that my laptop is not compatible with the machine. Although, the requirement for this long arm quilting machine is met by the laptop but still I am facing this issue.

this is a difficult case where the question arises whether this should be discussed here in this community.

 

If have a few question, so I want to help you....

 

(1) What type of cable and connector do you use ?

(2) Which port do you use on the notebook and the quilting machine ? Where is the port exactly located. Post some pictures if you like.

(3) Does your notebook has the latest firmware ?

(4) Is your operating system up-to-date (windows updates) ?

(5) Take a look at the technical documentation of your quilting machine. You should contact the manufacturer, too !
