So recently I've been having problems with the 4 year old spectre x360 15 inch gem cut model battery. I was told by HP diagnostics UEFI that a battery calibration was required. I followed the instructions to drain and battery, waited the required time to charge to full, and booted up the laptop which said that the battery was not detected. Any way to fix this? Thanks.

Hi @s1amata

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand that you are getting a battery not detected error, I am glad to assist you today.

I suggest you update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/desktops

Then run a Battery Diagnostic

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Power>Battery

Hope this helps!
