HP EliteBook 8770w Mobile Workstation (ENERGY STAR)

I use Verizon Wireless for my cell carrier. I have an elitebook 8770w but the only wwan card that I can find that mentions actually using Verizon Wireless is the HP lt2522 but is not listed for my elitebook 8770w and is supposed to handle 4G.  Is there a way I can use the lt2522 wwan card in my laptop or is there another option that work in my laptop and with my cell provider.

Hello,

What exactly do you have from Verizon ? You wrote Verizon Wireless, which is the official name of the company but not a product name. Please, share what products you have from them - like a SIM card, a MiFi device, cell phone, home router with wireless (WiFi) capabilities, etc ?

Generally speaking (without knowing your details), IF your notebook does NOT have a built-in WiFi card, then the cheapest and fastest option would be for you to just buy some WLAN (WiFi) USB adapter like these >> https://www.amazon.com/usb-wifi-adapter/s?k=usb+wifi+adapter

I can see some start from 7 USD but good ones seems a bit more expensive like 10-15 USD. They are quite small, literally plug and play. They can connect to a WiFi device spreading signal on 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz. This wi-fi device can be your home router from Verizon, your Mi-Fi, could be your cell phone (smart phone) acting as a hot spot, etc.

If you only have a SIM card from Verizon, and you are seeking for a WWAN adapter to be inside the PC and the SIM to be also inside the PC, then I would avoid recommending something as your notebook is very old one and I cannot recommend something that I can guarantee too work.

Please, share details. Thank you
