Windows updates offered a new Realtek driver for the HP dock G5 which is called "Realtek - Net - 1153.10.1104.2022".

Since we have this driver the network connection have a lot of disconnections. The only way we found is to revert to the old version we had which is 1153.8.608.2022 and everything is fine.

Could you check this driver and provide a solution ?

We have more than 400 laptops and if we can avoid to roll back the driver on all it will be better.

Thank you

Hi @francky18

Try 10.55.20 version of the drivers (newer) >> https://www.realtek.com/en/directly-download?downloadid=cb14f3edd5a2d03d7b6061d84c28ddcb

or if you prefer HP version, try version 10.54 version from this link >> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp143501-144000/sp143586.exe

Hope this helps you.

Thank you for your help but it doesn't work.

The latest driver on Realtek website for Windows 11 is 1153.9.20.823 from 23/08/2022.

I would need to test with a driver more recent than 1153.10.1104.2022 or understand why we have these issue with this driver version.

Thank you

I'm seeing the same issue, found this thread and did some digging on the Realtek site.

It looks like an updated driver has been released on the 21st March (v1153.12.0223.2023)

Realtek USB FE / GBE / 2.5G / Gaming Ethernet Family Controller Software - REALTEK

Just updated on a machine that was seeing random drop outs while pinging the default gateway and with dropouts while pinging anything on the network. had over 5 min of continuous ping now.
