EliteBook 850G7, Thunderbolt Dock G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey,

we got new Notebooks (Elitebook 850 G7) and Thunderbolt Dock (Thunderbold Dock G2 120W) but can't get them to work. We are running Windows10 2004, (in our opinion) fully updated Docking and Notebooks and have the problem that the USB Docking isn't recognized until we login into windows. We tried different BIOS Setting with authorization and no security (auto accept all USB-C Docking) but it doesn't help. The program we are using is the "Thunderbolt Control Center".

Please help us >.<

can you explain what do you mean by 'isn't recognized until we login into windows'?

since the elitebook g6 generation, thunderbolt is set to 'no security' in the bios as intel closed the TB vulnerability potential in the chipset... do you have to login with the laptop lid open?

have you used HP Image Assistant to confirm the BIOS and drivers are up to date, including the dock's firmware?
