Hi @asdfghj32456,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand the system is facing a no-power issue. Let us first check whether the laptop is receiving power properly and try a BIOS recovery, as this can sometimes help if the system is not starting normally.

Could you please share the exact HP PC/laptop model or product number so we can check the correct troubleshooting steps for your device?

Also, please check and let us know:

  • Do you see any light next to the charging port when the charger is connected?
    • White light
    • Orange/amber light
    • Or no light at all?

In the meantime, please try the BIOS Restore / Recovery steps below:

  1. Keep the charger connected to the laptop.
  2. Make sure the laptop is completely powered OFF.
  3. Press and hold the Windows + B keys together.
  4. While holding those keys, press the Power button once.
  5. Continue holding Windows + B until the BIOS Recovery screen appears.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions if the recovery screen opens.

Please share:

  • The exact HP model details
  • The charging light status
  • And whether the BIOS recovery screen appears

We’ll continue helping from there.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
