I ordered a brand new envy 17t laptop from hp online and when it arrived a week ago, they sent it without an ac adapter or wall plug. I literally have no way to charge it at all. I've called numerous times to get this resolved and they keep saying the charging plug is on back order and they don't know for how long. Why the hel didn't it come with one in the first place?? It's not like that is a spare part. Now i have a $1000 shiney paperweight and no confirmation date as to when they will send me the charging cord. Can I buy one elsewhere??

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
