Product: HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC (19X35AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've noticed an issue with EliteBook 840 G8, 845 G8, 840 G7, 845 G7, and 855 G7 laptops where occasionally, the USB-C dock will only work on one of the USB-C ports.  If plugged into the other one, it's only recognized for charging.  Results vary as to whether it's the port closest to the round charger port, or the USB-C port closest to front of the laptop.  I've tried driver updates, BIOS updates, and a BIOS factory reset and no change.  Any ideas?
