HP Recommended

Hi guys,

So, I was considering buying hp pavilion The specs seem pretty decent for what you are getting: i7 processor, 16GB memory, and 512 GB SSD. I have heard pretty nasty things about HP laptops, so I'm a bit reluctant, but it seems all Best Buy laptops are now 2-in-1 which I don't want. It is just an extra expense that I will never use. Would this computer be decent in the 500-1000 dollar price range? If not, I would love any good recommendations, especially Lenovo as they have always been reliable for me.
