I see on the HP website that  'We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes, private mailbox stores, United States territories, or addresses outside the U.S.'  (https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/shippingpolicy)

Would this include UPS Mailboxes? UPS says their mailboxes have 'real street address, and package acceptance from all carriers' but it seems the address still includes PMB (Private Mail Box). Would this mean HP wouldn't deliver?

Hi @RMBY,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Based on the shipping policy stated on the HP website, the restriction against shipping to P.O. boxes, private mailbox stores, and certain addresses seems to include UPS Mailboxes if they use a format that identifies them as private mailboxes.

Understanding the Restriction

P.O. Boxes: Typically refers to mailboxes at a post office or similar facility.

Private Mailbox Stores: Includes services like UPS Mailboxes, where mail and packages are received at a location with a suite or box number.

United States Territories: Refers to areas like Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.

Addresses Outside the U.S.: Includes international shipping.

UPS Mailboxes and HP Shipping Policy

  • UPS Mailboxes: These often provide a street address but include a "PMB" (Private Mail Box) or similar designation in their address format. This designation can still be considered a "private mailbox" in the context of shipping policies

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
