@hanrys,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

We as volunteer experts as well as HP cannot assist you with resetting or bypassing BIOS passwords, and there is no DIY method to clear it on this model either.

For security reasons on business-class notebooks like the ProBook 4530s, HP support agents are strictly prohibited from generating password-release files or master passwords.

Why Standard Methods Fail:

CMOS Battery Removal: Removing the coin battery will reset the system clock, but it will not clear the BIOS password. The password is stored in non-volatile EEPROM memory.

No Master Backdoors: There are no universal factory passwords available for this generation of ProBook.

The Only Official Solution:

The official method to remove the password is to replace the physical motherboard (system board). You can search in eBay for a motherboard replacement option, such as this purchase example: For HP ProBook 4530S 4730S Series 646246-001 Intel Motherboard CPU 6gb RAM | eBay.

Kind Regards,
