I tested another one of the laptops in our fleet, and it only died maybe 10% over the last 3 days. So it's something with my laptop specifically. I'm wondering if it's the setting I have on in the BIOS/UEFI that turns the laptop on when opened. I assume that uses a little extra power to monitor the state of the lid. I'm going to turn that off and see how it goes over the weekend.

It appears that it was in fact the option to Turn Laptop On When Lid Opened!

 

I'm going to test it again though. It appeared my laptop only lost 1% over the weekend with that setting off.

yea, it has to be on to detect the lid opened IMHO.
