HP EliteBook 845 G8 Notebook PC (1W3K6AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have fully updated Windows 10 Pro with installed all drivers from Windows Update and official HP site. All USB ports in my notebook working, but i see in device manager device "USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller" with error code = 10.

Device details:

Device ID: PCI\VEN_1912&DEV_0015&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_02\4&299B626&0&0012

Diag code: 0000000A

Status problem: C0000001; {Operation Failed}; The requested operation was unsuccessful.

Driver version: 10.0.19041.3031

Driver supplier: Microsoft

.inf name: usbxhci.inf

P. S. i previosly trying install latest Ubuntu (linux) and in starting system i see in dmesg many errors with this device... But all usb devices in linux also working... But linux system paused (5-10 sec) starting after error message with this device...

And latest 2 days my notebook very very long starting, maybe problem really with it device???

I have installed latest BIOS version from HP: T82 Ver. 01.13.01 - 03/31/2023

But 2 days ago I get from Windows Update BIOS upgrade to version 01.14.00, and I downgrade it to latest version from HP support site and in downgrade process see error (or inform) message with currently installed firmware version USB TYPE C is newer and USB TYPE C firmware not downgraded... But BIOS downgraded successfully.

**bleep**??? What is BIOS version 01.14.00 and why it version not in download list in official support site?

Maybe problem in unsuccessfull(partial) BIOS downgrade... And after clean install Windows 10 i don't get this BIOS upgrade from Windows Update... Why?...
