Hi to all, i have a probook 450 G2 on which a couple (or more) years ago i changed the splash HP logo which shows on power on... Now the laptop passed to another user and i would like to reset this logo back to normal... I have spent many hours searching online on how i did it!!!... This is definitely not the option inside the bios of custom logo... Yes if i enable this option and have the HPlogo.jpg inside HP partition it works.. BUT if i disable this option istead of the white HP logo which was the default, when powering on shows my custom logo!!!! Seems to be flashed in bios and i did it myself!!! But i cannot remember how and for sure it was not any complicated method or hacking the bios of the PC.. Any help appreciated...
P.S. i can barely remember that maybe i used some kind of HP app to do this but of course not the ereplogo utility which is for older bios versions
Thanks!

Today's morning my mind was more clear!!!.. I remembered that I indeed used ereplogo utility BUT from EFI shell and not the exe file which gives the error for incompatible BIOS
So using the ereplogo from EFI shell as explained here http://www.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03394575.pdf it can change the Splash boot logo of this laptop.

Hi,
You could try updating to the latest BIOS and see if it helps
