I have been struggling with my ProBook 450 G9 for a very long while, with the frustration BSOD that brings the stop code: DRIVER VERIFIER DMA VIOLATION. Previously, upon bringing the BSOD & suddenly restarting, it would bring the notice "DMA protection device attempted to access memory it was not allowed" but nowadays it doesn't, it just brings the BSOD with the stop code indicated, and restarts.
I have tried the following solutions, repeatedly, to no avail;
- Updating drivers
- Running hardware diagnostics - result always is no faulty hardware
- Run a systems file checker
- Performed a clean boot
- Tried disabling DMA protection under BIOS settings during startup (not sure if this was successful)
- Reinstalled windows
- Recently, i came across a post saying this error is caused by the Realtek RTL8852BE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter, (Driver Version 6001.15.155.1). The post suggested rolling back the driver (or updating it to Version 6001.15.156.0) which i did about a week ago. I thought the problem is now fixed but i have just gotten another episode of the BSOD a few minutes ago.
If anyone knows yet another thing i can try, it would be very helpful.

Something to note, looks like there was a even newer wifi driver update from the HP support assistant. That newer driver version is 6001.15.158.601
I tested it on one of the G9s last week. Still did not see it crash but I think I should test it more.
