HP ProBook 455 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC (719G0AV)

Hello all I recently purchased the HP ProBook 455 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC (725A0EA), and even though it said in the official product page that it has a backlit keyboard, I cannot find it. Searching further in the specifications I came across an asterisk that said the backlit is optional! In a Probook series!

 

When I'm asking the AI again it says that it should have. Can anyone help me out with this? It is very frustrating!

The backlit keyboard, as you have discovered, is an optional feature and purchase on this model.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide

Pages 13-14

 

No "sunburst" icon on the relevant key (F9 on this model) means that the computer does not have a backlit keyboard.

 

I'm am sorry you are unhappy.

 

If you wish to do so, the keyboard can be replaced.

 

The task is not for the novice --

The computer must be disassembled to replace the keyboard / top section.
