Product: HP s7540 CRT Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I recently purchased a desktop tower and monitor from your company, and unfortunately, both products arrived defective.
I encountered numerous issues while trying to resolve these problems. I spent hours troubleshooting the monitor, only to be hindered by the HP website constantly switching languages when I attempted to access tech support. Calling your 800 number resulted in being transferred multiple times and disconnected twice after lengthy wait times.
Eventually, a tech support representative acknowledged the monitor was defective and approved a return. However, after ordering a new monitor and attempting to assemble my complete system with my new tower, I was unable to get the second monitor's signal to connect.
Further attempts to seek online assistance were unsuccessful, so I again contacted tech support by phone. During this call, I also explained my inability to register any of my products due to website issues. The technician and I attempted troubleshooting via screen share, but your website repeatedly switched to Spanish despite checking the language settings.
We then tried a FaceTime type session to verify my connections and another screen share. After a frustrating hour, I was informed that my tower needed to be reset to factory settings, which would delete all of my recently transferred data. That was the only solution provided which is unacceptable. I kept having to ask her repeat it because I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
I'm now attempting to return the defective tower, but your website is preventing me from doing so. I'm extremely dissatisfied with my experience and would like to know the most effective social media platforms to voice my concerns.
