I want to upgrade my RAM now I am not sure what RAM is compatible with my PC and  and the maximum number of Rams I can add and the capacity.my PC is a HP 250 G6 NOTEBOOK PC.i tried to follow the link for manufacturers menu given to others but it's no longer available.

 

Processor: Intel(R) core (TM) i5-7200U CPU @2.5GHz,2701 Mhz,2core(s),4 Logical

Physical RAM installed:4GB

According to service manual (on pages 1-2), your model supports 16 GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 memory.

HP 250 G6 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

You can use DDR4-2400 memory, but it'll downclock to 2133 MHz, as that is the fastest speed your system can run at.

 

You can buy 8 GB memory like this.

Crucial 8GB, 260-pin SODIMM, DDR4 PC4-19200, at Amazon.com
