HP ZBook 15U G6 Work Station
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All

I work in the education sector in the UK and i have a member of staff who has a HP Zbook 15u G6 work station that has Windows 10 Education (64 bit) installed. Intel i7 processor and 16GB of ram, 512GB SSD.

Since December of last year the laptop has started going to a black screen randomly and she has to power off the laptop and power it back on again.

I couldn't replicate the issue myself when i had the laptop so I've performed a factory reset twice so far and downloaded all the latest HP drivers that the HP Support Assistant finds as well as updating the bios.

I've updated and run the full hardware diagnostics in bios but no issues were found but the blank screen still keeps happening.  I've even installed the latest video drivers from the HP web site but it didn't resolve the issue.

Other than calling HP Technical Support which i guess is the next step, has anyone come across this issue and managed to fix it?

Thanks

Dave
