Hi I am having the same problem. How can it be solved.

A few days ago after booting my laptop, my laptop stopped recognizing or detecting its own speakers and plugging a headphone through the headphone jack also goes undetected. Only way to play audio currently is through Bluetooth. In device manager I have an error related to intel SST OED, I have tried uninstalling the driver and letting windows reinstall it after restart, used SDI to install it, tried installing it through fortect and it still displays: This device cannot start. (Code 10) FW did not sent FW Ready notification.

Hi  @yatyatr

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the laptop is no longer detecting the internal microphone, built-in speakers, or wired headphones, although Bluetooth audio is working. Thank you for sharing the Code 10 message and the troubleshooting you have already completed.

For now, try these steps and confirm :

  1. Shut down the laptop, disconnect the adapter and peripherals, hold the power button for 15 seconds, and restart it.
  2. Run Audio Check from HP Support Assistant > Fixes & Diagnostics.
  3. From  https://support.hp.com/ , install the model-specific chipset, Intel SST, Realtek audio, and BIOS updates.
  4. Install available Windows and optional driver updates.
  5. If the concern began after an update, open Device Manager, access the Intel SST or Realtek device properties, and use Roll Back Driver if available. HP provides driver rollback as an advanced audio troubleshooting step.

Kindly refer to the HP microphone troubleshooting document .

I hope this helps.
