Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, my HP laptop recently updated to new firmware via Windows 11 auto update to "01.11.05 Rev A".

I used to connect 1 monitor via HDMI and 2nd monitor via USB-C (not charging on) because I needed my charging USB-C port for charging as my monitor doesn't support that. But after update I lost the output on this second USB-C port. I tried to downgrade to version "01.10.05" and it initially worked because USB-C Controller Firmware version was "8.4.0.0" which seems to work. But then on next windows update it was reverted.

How can I solve this as I need both monitors

Please wait, my machine failed to update Thunderbolt firmware this morning and no connection for my external display

HP needs to fix that. Sorry, I'm not in the hurry to fix the monitor, I can wait. I'm waiting to an engineer to come to my house to fix other problem today, mid day now and still waiting

Regards.
