We have a bricked Probook 450 G8 after a few days of regular and fine use.
I cannot recover from it, doesn't help. or reinstall W10 from scratch using recovery, the option just isn't there like it is on other 450 G8s.
Also seems there is no media like USB available to fix this myself.
What is my best option?

Hi:
Your PC should be supported by the HP cloud recovery client software which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with the notebook.
Here is the link to the software, and I have attached a pdf document below for how to use it.
This package provides the Cloud Recovery Client for supported computer models running a supported operating system. This Client Utility enables users to download the Recovery Kit from the cloud

Hi,
You could try using the HP recovery client to create a USB on a different PC
Here is how to use it
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05115630
You could also download the media creation tool from Microsoft on a different PC and create a bootable USB drive with the OS on it. You can then use this drive to reinstall the OS or try to fix the one installed

Hope it helps,
David

Tx! Trying it now. Also found this page https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05115630 which looks like same as the PDF but has working links.
