HP ProBook 440 G5 Notebook PC

Good day! I have a HP ProBook 440 G5 laptop with Windows OS pre-installed (as their website mentions).
But when I reinstall OS Win 10 64 bit, it shows "Windows is not activated".
Why is this happening??

Hi:

What is the product number of your notebook?

There are models that came with FreeDOS and there would be no W10 product key in the BIOS for those?

You should also be able to enter your notebook's serial number in the box at the link below and it may tell you if the notebook came with W10 or FrreDOS.

HP PartSurfer

Because you are correct...if the notebook came with W10 from HP and has a W10 product key in the BIOS, W10 won't ask for a product key and activate after you are connected to the internet.
