Hi there,
Recent owner of a new Zbook Power G7 which so far is fantastic. There is only one small issue I'm hoping to report to HP in the hope it might be fixed in the future. I'm not sure how best to report this and would appreciate any advice:
When in Ubuntu 20 LTE, the F3 and F4 hotkeys for brightness adjustment don't work. They seem to replicate the functionality of F8 (microphone mute). On investigation, it seems that it is not a Ubuntu issue, but a hotkey driver issue where F3 and F4 buttons are always recorded as F8. All other hotkeys are fine.
The only fix for this is to power reset the computer after booting into windows (a power reset between a Windows and Ubuntu boot fixes the issue). I suspect that while in Windows, a HP hotkey driver makes some adjustment that breaks Linux functionality?
I understand that the Zbook Power isn't certified to operate on Ubuntu. However, on the Linux Hardware Matrix, it does say that the Zbook Power has hotkey support with Ubuntu 20 LTE.

I guess my hope is that this issue might somehow get forwarded onto the relevant team in HP so that in the next driver/BIOS release (whichever is relevant) it could be fixed!
Any help appreciated, thanks!
