I am experiencing an issue with the SIM module on my HP EliteBook 840 G4 laptop. The cellular module (lt4120 Snapdragon X5 LTE) stops working as soon as I insert a SIM card from the Israeli mobile provider Pelephone.
Here are the system details:
Laptop model: HP EliteBook 840 G4
SIM module: lt4120 Snapdragon X5 LTE
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Driver Version: 10.0.19041.4842
The SIM card is recognized briefly and then the modem becomes non-functional. This issue only occurs with SIM cards from Pelephone; other providers do not seem to cause the same problem.
I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue or providing guidance on compatibility or firmware updates.
