My laptop is HP ZBook 15 G1 F0V26EA
I heared that for a lot of laptops you have to take out its battery if you want to use it plugged in. This is done to save the battery becouse it doesn't like being charged, and used at the same time.
But also for a lot of laptops, you don't have to do this, becouse they have some sort of built in mechanism to protect the battery from this issue.
Does the "taking out the battery" thing apply to my laptop too?

Hi,
You do not need to remove the battery as it has a protective mechanism. When fully charged, it will not start charging again until it falls below a certain threshold.
You should expect to replace the battery about every 18-24 months for good performance.
Hope it helps,
David
