How do I locate the sim card slot on my pc? I see it has all drivers installed but I cannot locate the slot.

You're absolutely right. The 650G4 has no external slot for the SIM card:
According to your laptop's User Guide pages 20-21 http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05960262.pdf, the only way to access it is by taking off the bottom cover!
As you can see, the User Guide shows two possible configurations for the SIM slot, but according to reviews, this is where you're most likely to find it:
