My HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 no longer detects the inserted sim. I had installed the Huawei LTE Module ME960s that was compatible for the required HP lt4132 LTE/HSPA+ 4G Module. It was functioning fine then one day it just displayed insert sim even though the sim was already inserted and had been functioning.

 

I tested the sim on a mobile device and it works just fine. I inserted a different sim in the laptop and it is also not being detected. I updated the drivers, reinstalled the software but the problem has remained.
