Hi,
recently, my HP 470 G5 began to take too long to start. Until then, the start up took about 10 sec, but now, without any reasonable cause (not messing with windows, bios, updates, etc.), after pressing power button I see black screen for 30 sec, then HP logo appears, another 30 sec, then the loading circle underneath, and only after then I am able to log into my windows account. All of this is accompanied by fan´s speed going unreasonably high (even with cold CPU, GPU) and slowing down only with the end of booting.
Notebook works overall fine, is not slowed down or noisy at all.
HP Support Assistant recommended updating Firmware Pack (Q85), which I tried to update, but ended up with System BIOS update message: "BIOS signature verification failed. Please download file again to update system BIOS". After several attempts, the situation is always same.
Thanks in advance for any helpful tips how to proceed.
Peter
