Product: ZBook 17 G6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased a ZBook 17 G6 with an optional blu-ray writer. I'm trying to find the specs for the blu-ray drive in order to determine what type of media (speed rating) it can handle, but nobody at HP Support seems to have any idea. It's listed as an hp HLDA BDRE BU50N BW51 unit, if that helps. Does anybody have any idea what the write speeds for this unit are?

Looks like it is a LG/Hitachi product. You can use the following tool and check its report to see a whole picture

Thank you. That is an excellent tool, but it gives me every piece of information about the drive except for the max. writing speed😢. Thanks for trying though!
