HP Recommended

I was given a HP EliteBook 845 G7 Notebook PC by my organization that I spilled some tea on. The Windows Key has come off and the space bar is stuck. My company won't pay for the repairs directly. The service center is quoting upwards of ₹11-12k (plus GST) to replace the keyboard panel. Alternately, they have suggested if I pay ₹6-7k, I can get the original keyboard panel, but I'll have to surrender the old one and won't a receipt of the transaction. Is the ₹6-7k price tag worth it, or am I being scammed? Any other alternatives available?
