Hello Everyone,
We are having this strange Problem since approx. 2-3 Weeks. The Notebook is plugged in to the Dockingstation or the 65W Charger. USBs and Monitors work fine on the Dock. However, it is not charging anymore. The Notebook just runs on Battery.
Dockings are Startech dk30ch2dppdu 60W, Dell K20A or K17A 90W.
Now to the strange part. When we open the Notebook and disconnect the Battery from the Mainboard, then plug it in to the Dock/Charger it starts and runs on AC power. Then we connect the Battery on the Mainboard again, and voilà. The Notebook starts and charges again.
We had this behaviour on 3 Devices already:
2x Elite X360 1040 G9 and an Elite X360 830 G9
It was just one device at first, but in the last 2-3 weeks, the two others "popped-up". And today the first device had it again, and the "Workaround" "fixed" it, but as we now know only temporary.
Does one of you have an idea, what could be the Issue? I tried Google but i cannot find anything besides the 100 of "Plugged in, not Chargin - Fixed/Solved!" Pages....
Thank you in advance
JK
