Welcome to HP Support Community,  أبومالك

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

  • This message is from HP Sure Start, a built-in security feature that protects your BIOS and firmware.
  • It means the system detected an unexpected or unauthorized change in the firmware while the PC was running.
  • This does not always indicate a cyber-attack; it can also occur due to a failed BIOS update, sudden shutdown, power loss, or firmware/memory corruption.
  • HP Sure Start automatically blocked the issue and recovered the firmware to keep the system secure.
  • Restart the computer and check if the message appears again.
  • Update the BIOS and firmware to the latest version using HP Support Assistant or the HP support website.
  • Check Windows Event Viewer → HP Sure Start logs for repeated or critical events.
  • Run a full system security scan using Windows Security.
  • If the message appears repeatedly, it indicates a security or firmware concern and should be checked by IT

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
