The Insert button on the HP ProBook 445 G8 keyboard doesn't work. When pressed once, the text input modes don't switch, the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Insert, Shift+Insert don't work (which is critical for working in Linux). Attempting to assign the Insert button to the Programmable button also fails. Both of them work incorrect. The Insert button works only as the F10 button whether the Fn lock is on or off and Programmable button only switches text input modes, copy/paste shortcuts don't work. Buttons like Sound off or Flight mode work fine.
I managed Ctr+Programmable button and Shift+Programmable button as I need, but I want to use them for other shortcuts.
The second way to copy and paste in Linux is to use the right Ctrl and Shift in combination with Fn+E.
I only bought this model because of the separate Insert button on the keyboard. Now I would really like to start using it.
