I have this old HP Probook 4510s, and the screen was broken, so i took the motherboard and components out of the laptop shell, and plugged it into an external monitor, and using the built in keyboard, I can get it to display the output on it. However, I have been trying to install the Tiny 10 ISO on it (a modded version of windows 10) and it boots onto the usb and the install works, all up until it finishes, and then the Monitor disconnects from the pc and will not reconnect. I cannot get it to show an image, and I do not have access to the original laptop display. All I can do is switch of the pc, and restart the installation cycle.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

@j1imson8,

Did you use Rufus to make a bootable usb drive? If so, my wild guess is that the current boot mode in your bios is not compatible with the Rufus settings you created.  For example, if the boot mode is set as hybrid uefi (with csm) and uefi (non csm) is selected in Rufus Target System setting, this may create a boot error when the computer reboots upon completion of the Tiny10 installation (you just can't see this error on an external monitor and all you see is a black screen).
